Yeah! and why don't we give the oil companies some tax breaks and incentives to drill while we're at it! Why doesn't that happen?

NIMBYISM perhaps? When was the last time a refinery was built on US soil? Look at supposedly green Ted Kennedy. He wants zero wind turbines out in the ocean miles off his island compound as they might mess up his and fellow neighbors views. Supposedly. Where is the leadership? Instead of giving a politician the keys to the city, state or national interests, it might be better to change the locks.
