"The Greek civilization peaked and declined well before the Islamic empire. As for China and India, parts of those countries were a part of the Islamic empire at its peak."

None of which was wrong......Ancient Greece, the civilization that spawned Socrates, Alexander the Great etc, had peaked and declined

By what measure did it peak and decline?

Also the claim that parts of China and India became parts of the Islamic empire at its peak was made to engross the accomplishments of Chinese and Indian civilization into Islamic civilization. Which is very misleading.

What I hadn't realized was when the Roman Empire moved its capital to Turkey, over time they began to speak Greek.

The eastern Roman empire became Greek spearking before there was a Roman empire.

In your desperate attempt to look like an intellectual, you stretched this rather mundane point over 20 or more posts. Very sad.

Yes thats what you did. And you keep coming back for more.

All because you wanted to exaggerate Islam's cultural achievements vis a vis the west.

Not at all....most of the world recognizes the accomplishments of the Muslims under the Islamic Empire. Its you all who seem to want to rewrite history.

Ah, but you were treating western civilization as if it was based on Islamic.
