Although I support it, the draft is a politically dead subject and we have supplemented our shortage in manpower with contractors or to use an old fashioned term, mercenaries. Thus far, Europe has been slow to get on board, but Germany and France, which I consider the heart of Europe have elected more conservative and pro-American leadership while the enemy fifth column promotes our surrender as our forces gather.

Thank you! There is NO way that our Congress hasn't been told this for years.

That being the case, then WHY have they not been receptive to this plan?

We are seeing that some in the DoD have even pushed with their feet against this plan....

Why?

The plan seems brilliant and certainly makes sense to most of us....

What is the disconnect?
