I seriously doubt your attorney marketed the home or assisted in any way other than writing up the deal. I'll write deals all day long for $250 a pop and do a better job than most attorneys. -g- I think you got overcharged. Check with your local BAR to see if you have recourse against that screwball money grubbing atty. lol.... he's the chief counsel for the biggest RE brokerage firm in the city where i used to live....and no, he didn't 'market' the property, he just did the paperwork you may write deals all day long for $250, but i was more than happy to pay him the $500 my time is worth something :)
