"Bob, that is BS and you know it." No - disarming shortly is not BS. It will happen no matter which party wins - only sooner with Obama. It will be just like the European states that have largely disarmed. It is the only way we will be able to fund our own domestic needs - as they have found with their current welfare states. How do you think all of the existing promises are going to be met - let alone the new promises. We need to - and will have to - withdraw from the world stage. We can no longer afford our role. Ultimately Tehran and Bagdad are closer to Paris, London and Berlin than New YOrk. Yes Whiffle - we will be disarming. It will not be "on to Afghanistan"!
