I don't find that an existential threat. That the Muslim minority in the EU (or the Hispanic minority here) may change politics somewhat I have no doubt- but that's no threat to the existence of the EU (or the US). That's merely the gradual change all immigrants bring with them. It's healthy for societies to be in flux. Stasis is a kind of death, imo.

Exactly. They just want to have a piece of the pie-to take part in that old proverbial American dream.

Thanks for a small reason for some optimism.

It's funny how everybody hates Americans, but everybody wants to become one (intelligentsia excluded of course).
