What dems are raving about inspecting containers? I actually think tighter controls on container freight are a good idea for a multitude of reasons- the most important reason have nothing to do with terrorism. I think some of the EU countries are in much better shape financially than the US is. Go look at their debt- then look at ours.

Do you not think a nuclear bomb or two would change the way we exist? It would change our lifestyle to a considerable extent, at least for a period of time. But our system of government would stand and we would stand. Short term pain, even excruciating pain, is not existential unless we let it be.
