Too bad you didn't pay attention to the rest of what I wrote, and that you can't talk about it without being sarcastic. My point is valid. You posted proof of desire rather than competency. That's a problem for you.

To say terrorist attacks would not destroy us is not to say "there's nothing to be concerned about"- unless of course you like the cheap thrills of a nonsensical false dichotomy. Do you favor those cheap thrills? It is, instead, to say terrorism is not an existential threat. If you can offer an existential threat please do so- but don't get snide because you post wishes and dreams instead of actual existential threats. That's a problem with your argument, not with my logic.

In that case, I guess there's nothing to be concerned about after all, then.

BP, I think you're a smart guy, so let me ask you this:

Have you heard anyone say that Radical Islam is not a threat?

Or that we should not be trying to counter their moves?

To my mind, we are all in agreement on this. The debate is over how best to accomplish our defense against the threat.

Large portions of the population think that blunt military force against a nation that was only tangentially involved in terrorism was a dumb move and one that distracted us from the larger struggle.

We can disagree about how best to defend ourselves, but nobody, NOBODY, is saying there is no threat.

Does that make sense?
