we don't even have decent BUS transportation like the rest of the world...why should one go an airport, put up with moronic crap from TSA clowns, be humiliated, spend hours, then fly (most likely not on time), wait for bags, get another ride or rental car from the airport, just to go 350 miles?....it's crazy...it's better to drive that distance now, but it should be an easy alternative to the station and get on and go on a train or bus from one major city to another, no not across the country... LA to SF LA to VEGAS Portand to Seattle whatever... actually the ridership on the existing light rail and subways in LA is rising very fast with oil and gas so high...long way to go though
