I am so glad that someone in that administration had the guts to come forth and start revealing some of the contradictions, lies and propaganda that the American public has been fed for 8 years and has bought...

As far as I am concerned and I mean this most sincerely, it would not have mattered to me whether Bush were a Republican or Libertarian as I fall into place with admiration for a person who does a good job.

My failing is that I cannot abide deceit.. It is the one
obstacle to respect a person or administration.
Even the latest documentary on HBO called Recount shows the deception that was evident in this administration before the election was called. Kathryn Harris from Florida spent four million dollars for an organization to disenfranchise felons. Only thing, she had anyone with a similar name disenfranchised too. And you know that a lot of blacks have similar last names..

So twenty thousand persons were turned away from the polls in Florida in a crucial election where every vote counted.
Maybe we would have had Gore. The fact that he was a Democrat would have meant little to me looking back. What I see is that we have had one of the most deceptive and corrupt administrations in White House for years. It can only get better... I hope. I pray this for all of us... in my heart.

Of Mr. Bush, Mr. McClellan writes, "sometimes he convinces himself to believe what suits his needs at the moment," adding that "to this day, the president seems unbothered by the disconnect between the chief rationale for war and the driving motivation behind it."

Scary stuff. We will have to wait for the interviews to see if these might be just phrases to sell books and not really representative of the tone of the book.
