McClellan "President Bush “convinces himself to believe what suits his needs at the moment,” and has engaged in “self-deception” to justify his political ends, "

I always viewed bush as a decent man. I didnt vote for him in 2000 because i thought he seemed to lack intelligence. To run as an outsider and to be so captured by the political culture in Washington so as to self delude himself for political advantage is just unforgivable. Looking back on his 8 years, it is apparent to me now that McClellan hit the nail on the head. Bill Clinton is an immoral man--bush appears amoral. Which is worse? Or was i right in 2000 and is it just that bush realized his intellectual limitations and it was really president Svengali Cheney running things all along??
