So, you just accept this disgruntled employee's word, without any question, and just move forward? This, of course, is the reason histories are written years into the future -- the reason Pat Buchanan finds it necessary, 60 years later, to write a history of things that happened in the 40s. Because it literally takes that long for the facts to shake out. We won't be around for it -- but when the facts shake out, I'm reasonably certain the McClellan's version of the "facts" will not play ANY role, whatsoever, in the way history remembers these days.
