Every time Iran is mentioned in US mainstream news, all I remember them showing is their PM and basically quoting what he is supposed to have said.. From wiping out Israel to what have you.. Not even sure if that is the exact quote.. Don't see them talking about or showing the complexity of the place or before this PM, moderates were doing fine and even under their current govt. what Iran and the people look like etc.. Mainstream media leaves the impression of a real backward place.. Of course if one gooles Iran and Tehran etc. you find a rich source of current photographs of people and places.. Beautiful, a mix of historical and cultural treasure to modern Tehran. Youtube also has a lot of clips of what the place is like.. Here is one.. youtube.com Seems like Iran has more going for it in terms of freedom and gradual political progress then say Saudi Arabia..
