McClellan's an Austin native from a political TX family--therein lies the clue to Scott's enmity for the GOP. His mother ran for Gov of TX and the GOP denied her the support she requested. Those reasons, along with the fact a tell-all fabrication sells more books than the truth, could explain the weasel's motivations.
