Smart leaders are better than dumb ones for sure but in bushes case, in your wildest imagination would you think guys like rummy and cheney to be incompetent at best, criminally negligent at worse. This was an all star team for moderate conservatives. Folks can yell neocons all you want but these guys were flat out old fashioned cons and man were we conned.
