..there isn't a stranger or more impatient breed of human on this earth than a "top" cardiologist. ;-) After reflection, I probably won't. I have no heart symptoms, but I do have plaque. So it may have many years before I need a Cardiologist, if ever. I know this one doesn't believe in heart scans, because the Kaiser Hospital doesn't have an EBT scanner. Therefore he is a "treatment" oriented Doctor. My entry Doctor at Kaiser is a competent Internist, who has absolutely no interest in any supplements I take, so I know what he thinks. They will all take good care of me if I go south, but I am on my own to figure out what I should do before then. This is really true for all of us.
