I think you're giving that short shrift. It's not so simple, I don't think. Of course we have to speak up against wrongheaded actions. And of course we have to avoid giving aid and comfort to the enemy. You can't optimize both concurrently. I don't claim to know where the line is. I don't know that there's even a line--more like a venn diagram, perhaps. In any event, it seems to me that some tolerance is called for given the tricky interface.
