If Obama goes, he should follow the military's and SS's recommendations on escorts and protection to the letter, get plenty of footage of himself in a flak jacket in an armored vehicle, and make it clear at his press conference just how little an unprotected westerner could do anywhere in Iraq nowadays.

That would provide a vivid contrast to the little dreamy word portraits we get from the cheerleaders.
