My main point is that using our military in this type of asymmetrical war is inappropriate. Our military was not designed to fight terrorists using box cutters to ram airplanes into buildings. The way to fight terrorists are to fight them as if they were international criminal gangs. We have the structure and the resources to fight that kind of war. We just need the leadership.
