You stated this:

They help humanity by seeking the profit.

which you then morphed that into this:

You actually believe a world without drug production and development, or without the profit motive, would really be a better place, or even just as good?

You didn't quote the complete statement. It ended with - "Even the weakest form of your statement "it is not true" would in this context imply at the very least that a world without a profit motive to develop new drugs would be at least as good as the world we have today. That's just senseless."

If the drug companies seeking profit doesn't benefit humanity, than without their seeking profit, humanity would have to be at least as well off as it is now.

And that idea is nonsensical. Without that profit motive, they would not invest the many billions they spend bringing new drugs on to the market, and new drugs do benefit humanity.

I have also told you repeatedly that human beings are not driven simply by lust for money.

And I agreed with that statement. But without the profit motive you don't get nearly as much investment, and the investment you do get is likely to not be as well directed.

Sure people have charitable impulses, but such impulses are very unlikely to result in billions of dollars for new drug development.
