I agree that is the way it should work. Often it doesn't because vested interests that lack "integrity" (read Lobbies) get in the mix and skew things.

In my view many of the purported "left wing" policies attributed to Obama seem workable.

That is my hope too, we shall see.

It's not about whether something is "right wing" or "left wing," it's about whether it works or whether it doesn't.

Yeah, but then you have to define "works," which is a function of your objectives, which are a function of your "wing."
