Some of you might remember me posting about this last week. Well I put in my paperwork to close my account after I closed out all my positions. Unfortunately, when I talked to the just2trade rep, they informed me that NAC has frozen all the accounts and assets! They don't know for how long, but during that time I can't close/transfer accounts, access my funds, or do anything but wait!! Good thing I don't have above their SPIC insurance limits, but I have no idea how long I have to wait to get my check. A week, a month, this is certainly not chump change to me... and would that check even clear?? What is frightening is this tidbit:

"The Receiver is currently taking steps to assess the situation and attempt to determine whether customers' funds and securities are adequately protected and whether NACI is a going concern."

I get that bad feeling in my stomach, and I keep having visions of those poor folks who lined up at the banks in 1929 and saw that the line was 2 blocks long.
