I've provided a few examples, to find many more just look around you.

Compare the frozen and/or convenience food of the 70s with that of today. Compare the diversity of different types of food from around the world available in restaurants and shops compared to the 70s. Look at the different types of produce you can buy at any many times throughout the year compared to a generation or two ago. Look at the upscale food markets, organic food options, etc. etc.

Its not just wrong to say food quality is getting worse, its silly.
