There was a claim of helium produced in the article. I'm actually increasingly hopeful that a mix of solar technologies and energy efficiency is going to be the long-term solution as well as more effective use of fossil fuel - though I'm still not clear on what the real economics are we seem to be reaching an inflection point between the rising cost of fossil fuel and falling costs of alternatives plus less energy requirements per dollar of GDP. I used to be much more skeptical about this...
