McCain would have to reinstate the draft to expand the military the way he dreams of doing. But even then, who would pay for it all? And what are we fighting about? Bushies have already bankrupted this country and our dollar is practically worthless. Our military is spent and exhausted. No one would want to enlist now unless they're nuts or completely desperate. Time to start paying our bills, healing, rebuilding and making real smart honest progressive changes. Major reform, major regulation of the most noxious industry groups, a war against corruption, major green infractruture building, end the damn wars and let our military heal. Face it, the rightwing had their chance, almost total control for years. And look at the disaster they brought upon us. In fact the worst isn't even known yet. Bushies are covering up the real bad economic numbers until after the election. Something like 13 trillion in wasted money, pure debt. And a dollar which is so worthless foreigners will be able to come in like carpetbaggers and buy up our crown jewels. That is the corrupt legacy of the Bushies. That and $4 gasoline. Maybe even $5 by the time those pirates are finished with us. And the biggest victims of all? The GOP's own base. They are the ones who have been screwed most royally.
