The Bush GOP propaganda machine is run by talking points (ie misleading lies and Socviet or Nazi style propaganda). Democrats have no such organized "echo chamber". You saw it the other day when every single Bush rightwing apologist said the exact same thing about Scott McClellan. "He's not the Scott we used to know", etc. No variation in the messages at all. If you listened to Fox News it would be all you heard, then they quickly invented a new "pastor problem" for Obama to replace the McClellan story. This is all very organized.

One of the other tricks the rightwing always uses it to accuse democrats or whomever else they are against (democracy itself?) of doing what they are most guilty of. This includes calling Islamics "fascists" (a totally inaccurate description though Bush-Cheney have been using fascist tactics all along), democrats "elitists" (though only the BUSH GOP defends the interests of the most elite, "nut jobs" though the rightwing extremists are the nuttiest bar far, "appeasers" though the Bush GOP has appeased every malicious problem we face these days, it seems, etc.

So when the rightwing accuses democrats of having "talking points" you know they are just covering up their own far more organized propaganda machinery. In fact, I'll bet there is absolutely no cooperation between the DNC and any progressive groups like MoveOn in terms of message. That goes for the Obama and Clinton campaigns as well. In fact the Clinton campaign has been using GOP talking points of late in order to try and somehow slow down and stop Obama.
