I have been short the market for more than a year. It is my belief that Bushie corporate pirates are looting us for everything they can get, starting with big oil, and the real debts and deficits are 500% higher than reported. SO far I've been right, but I expect the market to drop a lot more before it starts back up. This is mainly because the middleclsas in this country is broke and in debt and has been devastated by Bushie corporate elitist policies. Trickle down voodoo economics doesn't work, just as GHW Bush said when he ran against Reagan.
