So, perhaps you could prevail upon the out-going administration to remove it's ban on American businesses doing deals in Cuba?

Our oil industry (not to mention real estate firms, hotels, recreation, etc.) would most likely dominate down there pretty quickly if we were only allowed to compete for business.
