LOL how could I forget the seat belts?

I could have expanded the point to say that Congress can forbid a lot of things through the criminal code, and mandate actions by businesses to comply with laws, not to mention personal taxation.

But I can't think of many examples where an individual is compelled to get up off the sofa and go speak and act in a certain way on command. Fortunately. Though the courts have the powers of subpeona and Congress can also do that to compel testimony.

But they can't order me to appear in front of the Capitol, put my hand over my heart and swear allegiance to them, the flag or anything else. That is my decision.
