Tobacco isn't that much more expensive than it was 10 years ago.

You forget that DMA is in the socialist state of MN, second only to WI in finding ways to sin tax the living daylights out of people. Tobacco is much more expensive here and it's getting to the point that smoking anywhere in public will get you arrested including bars.
