Israel has roughly 6 million people, half of which you claim speak Arab. We have roughly 2-6 million Arabs in this country. Are you telling me that US Arabs aren't as capable as Israeli Arabs? Its not just capability, its willingness and trustworthiness. Israel is in a much different situation. In addition I suspect the Israelis have defused a lot of potential terrorism. They seem to have more terrorism in their homeland than we do. And their most effective tactic has been to build a wall keeping terrorists from entering the country. But if you want to suggest we adopt Israeli methods to deal with terror, okay with me. You keep calling them assassins.....the AQ leaders don't have to be killed, just arrested will do. Because the phrase you've been pushing, "take them out" is not a eumphamism for arrest them. It commonly means kill them. Isn't Israel known for this? And regularly condemned by liberals in our society? You know, the phrase used by liberals to condemn Israel is "cycle of violence". As for arresting AQ leaders, we'd been trying to do that throughout the 1990's - OBL was indicted in 1998, but that didn't prevent 911 did it? Warfare works better against war than lawfare. There were any number of arrests that were wrong. Yes, thanks for proving my point. If we arrest terrorists, liberals will look for reasons to claim they're innocent. So you do believe the laws should be violated. There can be no understanding between us so long as you support illegal activity. And you called for "taking them out", a clear euphamism for assassination. You made that more clear by citing the Israelis. Hey, I'd support that. But you don't even maintain support for your own idea. Now you're back to we can only arrest them, and then we'd better be damn sure we know for certain they are guilty and can prove it to people with a bias against the government and who are looking for an excuse to claim anyone arrested by the government is innocent.
