thanks, the altair news releases seem to indicate that Talisman was interested in a different play for that well, the Trenton/Black river formations. It does not say if they tested the Utica. There is complex geology in some parts of the area, so the Utica may not have been a target? I don't know, the information they give is very sketchy. Talisman only returned part of the leases to Altair, they kept part. I am guessing that those leases kept have Utica potential.

I glanced at Talisman's pr's but didn't see anything. Very quick glance, so I might have missed something.
