It's all relative. The most bombastic assholes who get elected to Congress are usually marginalized; that wacko from California, Bob Dornan, was a perfect example. Others can have their moments, but it's not hard to spot the types who tee up and fire off crazy screeds like Wright and Pflegler. If you don't get the enthusiastic support of the ditzes who gather around the assholes, fine. Chalk it up to the price of trying to be a better human being than they are. The guy who really deserves a swift kick in the groin is the pastor who succeeded Wright and invited the latest yo-yo to come in and do his stand-up act for the mob. That alone is a powerful argument for Obama to put Trinity in his rearview mirror for good. What schmuck is the new guy going to invite next week? The campaign can't spend the next six months wondering and waiting for the next YouTube moment to erupt.
