Should have been the Dow Jones - let me check. You are right - good catch. I should be more careful on Friday night. The DJI chart shows the same thing.

I actually think that in some ways Bill Clinton had some tendencies that today would make him more Republican than Democrat. Specifically NAFTA and GATT would never fly today. I think those policies were important in the bull market of the late 90s.
