Flexfuel = yawn. We did that last century, a few decades ago. But it's nice that Brazil is catching up to last century's vehicle technology, albeit at the cost of productive value = land is more valuable for food than for fuel.

Governments are always doing the wrong thing at the wrong time in an expensive way.

You should check the price of food and then check the price of ethanol - note that ethanol has been falling according to your graph, but food has gone zooming in price.
