<<<Obama is not what he seems to be, in my opinion. >>>

Good or bad, people make up what they see in him.

We have no real way to know who he really is. There is not enough data points.

But, he does leave a trail of hints.

To me, he is (in a very good sense) opportunistic and pragmatic. No matter what, you don't go through Harvard Law and Harvard Law review without embracing a lot of those values.

He has played both the black and white communities as suckers. He has used the race card to his advantage.

I think his instincts are basically good, but you don't get to where he is without a lot of IOU's.

It all depends on how he repays those loans, therefore, he is a crap shoot.

Are we going to entrust our nation to a crap shoot?

>>This isn't about me, it's about Obama. Therefore I repost the comments that you did not address:

Me, I'm skeptical. I'm skeptical of anyone who inhales and then brags about it because "that's the point." What a sorry message to be sending our youngsters.

I'm skeptical of anyone who mingles with racists and bombers and claims to know nothing about their views, until he feels compelled to denounce their hateful utterances after they've hurt him. Why not before?

Obama is not what he seems to be, in my opinion. If he were who he seems to be, I would still oppose some -- not all -- of his policies.

Obama is a junior senator without a finished term, with state legislature experience that deceives him into thinking the world works the way opposing factions in our states do.

I did address your final point, in asking what makes you think Obama is so naive. If you know how the world works, why do you assume he doesn't? A valid question, I think.

Your paragraphs about associating with racists and bombers is so over the top I chose not to respond to it.

You're entitled to your opinion. Express it all you want to. I know I'll never be able to convince you that there's anything amiss in your view, and I don't consider trying to do so to be worth the effort.
