Thanks, but its OK. Its kinda bracing to swim against the current, theology-wise.<g> Seriously, I know it may be hard for you to picture it, living as you do in progressive CA, but the Appalachians are truly different. You've of course seen the news from here regarding the primaries. Although the bigger cities and the lanes along the major highways are modern, the smaller towns back in the hollers have retained their heritage more than most. These people are fiercely religious, literally speaking, and you DO NOT tell them what to do. They are only a few generations removed from their ancestors, who attempted to leave the Union, rather than be told how to live. I both admire them for their rugged individualism and am appalled by their selective tunnel vision.
