I know...it was so sad. We even had fairly elaborate funerals....not that any of us had been to a funeral... Wonder if kids entertain themselves that way any more....playing with dirt and nature? I surely must have been the only kid that tried to fish in the irrigation ditch (like a little fast moving stream) that ran through the side of my Grandparents yard.....only problem was, I used a big stick, string and tied a rock to it....My Granddad must have been howling with laughter when he saw me doing that....but than again, he never told me it didn't work either....Didn't take me too long to figure out the problems...no fish and if there were, they don't eat rocks. But what does a 6 year old know...? <ggg>
