For what it's worth, I found the comment you made perfectly rational and understandable.

It was not in the least snotty or offensive.

This board is above that. I thought everybody knew.

"As fo(r) me, I have supported Hillary from the beginning"

I actually liked Hillary and voted for her in the primaries after much wavering. Her performance during the primary season, combined with that of her husband's was at times, impressive, and other times abominable. As she fell behind, her sneakiness and meanness became more and more evident.
I reacted so strongly to your post yesterday because I had just finished watching the DNC meeting and the wonderful compromise that was ironed out regarding Michigan and Florida delegates. I 'heard' your post as in the same spirit as that of Harold Ickes when he stated that Hillary had been 'hijacked' and he had her permission to go to the Rules Committee at the end of June.
It is time to come together and support Obama as the winner of a fair and tumultuous battle with Hillary. He is the best that we have to get this country back on track, imperfect as he may be. Hillary would have continued the culture of secrecy, and dirty tricks and obfuscation of the truth.
So you caught a lot of my rage at Harold Ickes and the way he has been advising Hillary to campaign. He is someone who could just as well be campaigning for McClain--which is part of the threat from the fervent Hillaryites. Will you support the chosen demo candidate when this is settled, or, are you going to stay home or campaign for McClain?

PS
I hope the hardy, Hillaryites will settle down as my favorite acupuncturist is one of them and I have to go back to her when she has needles in her hand.<g>
