That's why I said that no holy book introduced war to mankind.".... Stan...Humans were killing each other back in cave dweller days before there was organized religions...IMO organized religions only perfected a reason to kill each other on a more massive scale and that includes the new testament. Fights over food, territories, females, etc have been going on since humans have been around... organized religions added another reason...fighting over whose God is the correct one and of course a way to rule over peoples of planet Earth. Most of the christian world has evolved beyond the cave days and the religious war days....some organized religions have not evolved and remain stuck in time 1400 years ago and they are a real threat to our way of life. I agree the world would be a much better place if it could be as you suggested but until such time those who force their ways and religions on others must be stopped by whatever means necessary and that means that Christian countries must take up arms and fight for the freedoms we all enjoy in a free world...or submit to islam. If christian countries do not fight and instead wish to become martyrs there will be no christians and the most powerful religion will rule all. IMO.
