The world is hungry, hungry for food, for growth, for the wealth and living standards that we in the West take for granted. Without abundant reasonably priced energy, achieving the above will be impossible.

And the greenies and their "global warming" allies in the media and governments are doing all they can to ensure that the above does remain impossible. Discontent, to put it mildly, lies ahead. Interesting times...

And perhaps, the world will soon realize where a good deal of their food comes from...

A lot of folks give it no thought whatsoever, or else they think vegetables come in little frozen bags and beef comes cut and wrapped on trays. Never mind those cows have to eat something before they can be sliced up and packaged with shrink wrap.

My grandfather was a country extension agent and ran a chicken hatchery. Most people nowadays would say "a county what? A chicken what? Now run to the store and buy me a bag of Tyson chicken tenders."
