There's a bizarre determination to avoid studying results for many policies in the US - despite wars on drugs, immigration and prostitution, I don't see that anyone has made a dent in any of them the last 30 years. I can do drugs, hire an escort or get an illegal to work in my yard with minimal effort. The odds of my getting caught are almost zero. The policies, these idiotic "wars", do NOTHING but no one dares to say that the emperor has no clothes. Yeah, the dude is starkers while he hangs out with the hooker doing blow, Jose is mowing the yard outside and the emperor is laughing his ass off. Oh yeah, the drug dealer and the pimp are counting their money while Jose is grateful he can feed his family that night. Supply and demand uber alles.
