Not very well targeted. Sure, XOM makes out, but so do the Saudis, the Iranians, the Russians, the Venezualans, etc.


A subtle difference, but I don't think of it in terms of the current price of oil. I think the Neos really believed the war would increase worldwide production.

I see it more of as a subsidy to gain access to raw material. Most wars have been resource wars as this one is.
