That whole socialist triumvirate, politically cosy as they are with the ultra left groups, in order presumably to spread their mandato, are not very popular with the admin of the USaSD, and insofar as they are keen on keeping greasy resources out of the hands of the imperialismo power mongers, or making them pay a ransom for it, it would appear to have a destabilizing effect on oil supplies/prices in the hemisphere. Vz is the 6 largest oil supplier in the world and largest in the western hemisphere. Being USA's largest oil supplier it is therefore extremely desirable to have good relations with that country. Unfortunately the political cant of Vz makes that very hard.

<<the United States has invested some $125 million to back this secessionist autonomy movement.>>

Well, Ambassador Philip Goldberg comes to Bolivia from Kosovo. And he is clearly a supporter of the secessionist agenda of the eastern lowlands, which is known as the Half Moon because it forms a half-moon arc running from north to south in the eastern lowlands. The figures that I've read in terms of US Agency for International Development, as well as the National Endowment for Democracy, the figures I've read suggest that the United States has invested some $125 million to back this secessionist autonomy movement. >>

Google Ambassador Goldberg, and what do we get----

Philip S. Goldberg presented his credentials to Bolivian President Evo Morales Ayma on October 13, 2006.
Ambassador Goldberg served most recently as Chief of Mission in Pristina, Kosovo (2004-2006).
