LIAR. We are very proud of the old liberal tradition which lifted us from the Great Depression into the greatest economic expansion in world history, civil rights, opposing the horrendous Vietnam War, championing personal freedom of expression and thought, but that was then and this is now. We no longer call ourselves liberals. The rightwing has spent a billion dollars smearing that word so fine, they can have it. It's not entirely accurate anyway. We are for personal liberties but also call ourselves FOR PROGRESS progressives with obvious honesty and forward-looking common sense respecting science and fact as opposed to Bushie corporate propaganda and massive larcenous criminal corruption. Nothing could be more clear of a distinction.
