It used to be my opinion we should just use their oil first and hoard our own, but we have to transition to newer technologies and need our supplies in the interim period. * * *

But Priority 1 is draining all mid-east oil fields as quickly as possible and letting the whole of it sink back into the middle ages. Sounds like a good idea, but we are not that smart. They are smarter than us. They are moving to USA and Europe and UK. So in 40 years Europe and UK is going to be run by Muslim fanatics since the Europeans are afraid to stand up for themselves. In the USA it is happening slower. Hopefully, by the time Europe falls the USA will have gotten smarter from their experience.
