'They must be getting pretty desperate, as it looks more and more likely that Obama will crush McCain in November.' How do you explain how a super candidate like Obama can be so badly beaten in major Dem primaries when he is the supposed nominee? As much as I dislike Hillary, I can understand why she does not quit. Obama is going to slide in under the wire before his associations wreck his candidacy (good judgement claims?)- he is lucky the stuff did not come out sooner. The coming political season will be ugly.

There is another rumor that there is a tape where Michelle repeatedly says "Why'd he" referring to Bush, and some imbecile is claiming she is saying "Whitie."

Sorry to bring garbage here, but felt since I mentioned it yesterday I should follow through. I know you all were waiting with baited breath for this- Here is this morning's promised HUGE REVELATION on No Quarter, the homepage of Larry Johnson, who started this whole thing. Bad news for the RWers expecting red meat. This guy should have his keyboard taken away. I was stunned when I saw his credentials. They sound pretty excellent. And yet he's obviously nuts. NO names, hasn't seen the tape. As someone commented: "Are you sure it was just Farrakhan on the panel? I heard OJ and Ahmadinejad were there too." I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater. (Pause while he goes on and on about Farrakhan.) One source described how this tape was acquired. Let’s just say that one of the republican candidates who is no longer in the race, but had a dandy oppo research capability, uncovered this gem. If Republican poohbahs have their way the tape will remain on ice until October. But when it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam. That’s not a winning platform in November. And Barack’s bundlers understand this threat. I also have learned some major financial backers are asking the Barack team about the tape and are being stonewalled. It is a wild card in the political campaign that has not yet played out.
