August 17, 2005 is the date of that picture. There have probably been 1500 skyscrapers built since then, untold billions and hundreds of billions that have gone into infratructure build out... Huge demand over the next 10 years, bigger question does China have a fairly severe contraction of 9 to 15 months that queing up between Now and end of Beijing summer games?

I'm convinced that no one has models and can calculate the vastness and swiftness in which adjustments in the global macro economy can and will occur. Sure the big Global oil companies, the big global hedge funds and Macro Managers have models, algorithms, what if analysis and marginal utilization numbers but it's very mind numbing to try to get any group of models around the totality and lightening speed in which today's global economy functions.
