I love easy clean-up. I'm moving into that stage. :) I do have a lovely husband who helps. I 'cook' two or three times a week and then give myself permission to make the other days as easy as possible and fortunately husband likes those kind of meals also. While cooking, I clean as I go. I can't stand having a good meal and then having to clear a sink of prep dishes and eating dishes too. It's easier that way for me. I have helpers. Two dogs who lie at my feet in the way as I prepare. They know they will get a taste of whatever is chosen. They love lettuce, the scrapings from an avocado, a tiny piece of blue cheese, carrot... and if I drop something they do not 'share'... first come gets the blue ribbon :) I do not let the dogs 'clean' any of the dishes. I have a friend who does that before she puts them in the dishwasher. She is an Excellent cook, but my stomach curls. :)
