There is an almost infinite amount of coal and gas and it takes a lot of work to get both out, so I think they are getting after it. Alaska for instance has 100 billion barrels of heavy oil (untouched) overlying Prudhoe Bay and as much as one quadrillion cubic feet of gas if methane hydrates become recoverable. this will take 100 years to get out.

100's of billions of cubic feet of NG insitu.

Take a look at PAN, BNK and BNK wts (heavy oil) and CMK, CAJ, SMI etc today. they are smoking. CMK and WHD have old deposits in situ and organizations are just now starting them up.

SMI is interesting. They were drilling for diamonds in Saskatchewan and found 35 meters of coal in two drill holes 1.5 KM apart with 80 meters of overburden.

CAJ got property near SMI, I think and is moving today as well. All of the above started moving up big on friday.

Saskatchewan uses peet for their power and as I understand it everyone was sort of surprised when SMI found actual coal which is muhc better.
